On May 5th, 2014, the San Diego Union-Tribune newspaper featured Omar Gonzalez, the youngest mariachi in the group “Mariachi Real de San Diego”, on the front page!
They performed at the Cinco de Mayo celebration in Old Town State park in San Diego on Sunday May 4th, 2014. He is the third generation in the family along with grandfather Pedro Gonzalez and his uncle Mauricio Gonzalez.
